The event encourages local non-profits and businesses to creatively display a Scarecrow and then the community votes on winners in various categories. Keep an eye out for additional details!

Scarecrow Trail 2025
🍂 Fall is just around the corner—and for many of us, it’s the best time of year! While the garden begins to wind down and we tuck our plants in for winter, our fun is far from over. We’ve got a lineup of events to carry us through the cooler months, starting with one of our favorites: the Annual Scarecrow Trail! 🎃
👻 Beginning October 18th through November 2nd, downtown businesses will display their creative scarecrows, and the Orchard (45 Penland St.) will be filled with scarecrows from other businesses and nonprofits. Visitors can vote online for the Funniest, Scariest, and Best Theme/Business Representation during the entire trail. Stay tuned for the official map and voting details!
✨ Want to join in? If you own a business or organization and would like to set up a scarecrow, email us at pigeonrivergardenclub@gmail.com for details.
Happy haunting, and we can’t wait to see your spooky creativity! 🧑🌾👻🍁
