Scarecrow Trail

The Scarecrow Trail is one of the Garden Club’s annual Fall community events — a local tradition that brings fun and creativity to Canton every autumn. It is one of our favorite events of the season — celebrating fall even as gardens begin to wind down for the year. The Scarecrow Trail fits into PRGC’s broader emphasis on community outreach and celebration of seasonal gardening culture. The event encourages local non-profits and businesses to creatively display a Scarecrow and then the community votes on winners in various categories. This year’s theme is Grimms’ Fairy Tales! Complete the form below to sign up. More information will be coming over the next few weeks.

Registration is requested by September 26, 2026. There is no fee to participate. Each participant will be provided with a participant number and is responsible for their display and signage. Spaces in the Garden will be marked and the display should fit within a 3 x 3 space. Please be sure to make your display sturdy with anchors and keep the height to a minimum due to the possibility of windy weather as we experienced last year. Please email us at PigeonRiverGardenClub@gmail.com with any questions you may have.
